How To Fill out Forms Online Using Adobe Acrobat Reader
You will need:
A PDF Generator such as Cute PDF Writer
Note that both of these applications are available free to the general public, and do not come with spyware or other malware attached.
If you need to download and install either or both of these applications, do so before continuing. Both applications are easy to install, and neither uses many of your computer's resources to install or run. Be sure to follow installation instructions carefully.
To create a completed, email-ready form, follow the instructions in this section, and then continue.
Open the form by clicking on the link and fill it in. You may save the form to your hard drive or network, but keep in mind that when you save it, you will be saving only the blank form. Adobe Acrobat Reader will not save or email completed forms as the full version of Adobe Acrobat will.
Be sure you have all information correct and complete before proceeding.
Click the Print button, or click on File --> Print.
In the drop-down box which lists your available printers, choose your PDF generator, and click OK.
An additional box will pop up asking where you want to save your new PDF form. Choose a location and click Save. (It is especially important to make note of the location if you access your email account through the internet, on a site such as Yahoo or AOL, rather than through a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird.)
The newly-saved form will open up as a separate Acrobat Reader file.
If you have an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, and can email from within applications on your computer, follow the instructions in this section. Otherwise, skip to the next section. The exact wording may differ slightly, depending on which version of Acrobat Reader you are using; these instructions will at least give you an idea of where to go to email PDF attachments.
Click on File --> Email (or possibly File --> Attach to Email). Acrobat Reader will open a new message using your email client, with the new PDF attached.
Make sure the email is addressed to jeanne.hey@chrisrsheridan.com.
Type message and send as per usual.
If you access your email on the Internet, on a site such as Yahoo or AOL, follow the instructions in this section.
Log into your Internet email account.
Create a new message addressed to jeanne.hey@chrisrsheridan.com.
Type message.
Attach the newly-created PDF file to the message and send as per usual.
One final note: the PDF file you create using these instructions is not editable. Therefore, it is important that you make certain that the form is complete and correct before exiting the original Chris R. Sheridan form.
