Chris R. Sheridan & Co. Takes Top Honors in Build GA Awards

The Associated General Contractors recently lauded Macon’s Chris R. Sheridan & Co. first place in the Construction Management and Design-Bid-Build categories at its Build Georgia Awards Ceremony.

The first award was for renovation of the Bibb County Courthouse. Randy Reed was project manager and Jay Ehalt was project superintendent.

The second award was for renovation of the labor-and-delivery wing at the Coliseum Medical Center. Judges noted the contractor’s efforts to keep the entire wing, including the neonatal intensive care unit, in operation during the renovation. Richard Cazort was project manager. Larry Grubbs and Bobby Turner were the project superintendents.

The Build Georgia Awards, presented annually by the Associated General Contractors, are judged by a panel of construction educators and other professionals from neighboring states.
