Forsyth United Methodist Church Renovations Moving Forward

Chris R. Sheridan & Company has negotiated the contract for the Renovations to the Chancel at the Forsyth United Methodist Church located in Forsyth, GA. The project will consist of 100% demolition of the existing Chancel in the Sanctuary with rework of existing risers, ceiling, lighting, electrical and sound locations.

A unique aspect of the renovation will be to modify the existing communion rail to add a removable section and install a new modesty rail in the choir loft.

All work is being performed to accommodate a new pipe organ console scheduled for delivery at the end of December, 2007.

Architectural services are being performed by Frandsen Architects, P.C. Charles J. Frandsen, AIA. Chris R. Sheridan & Co.’s construction team consists of Bobby Turner, Jr. (Project Superintendent) and Richard Cazort (Project Manager).

This is the third project being performed for Forsyth United Methodist Church. The last project was approximately thirteen years ago, when CRS & Co. finished out the basement floor of the existing facility.
