Immaculate Conception Church Groundbreaking Takes Place in Dublin

On Friday, May 2, Immaculate Conception Church in Dublin, Georgia broke ground on its new sanctuary.  Chris R. Sheridan & Co. was chosen as the general contractor, thus continuing a long relationship with the Catholic Diocese of Savannah.  The company has had the good fortune to work with the Diocese on four other churches since 2002, and won Build Georgia Awards for three of these projects.  One of them, Sacred Heart Church in Warner Robins, is a replacement for a previous church built by Chris R. Sheridan & Co. in 1963.  We are most honored to continue that legacy at both Warner Robins and now Dublin.

The firm was additionally chosen as the construction advisor to the Diocese, and in the selection process selected Azar Walsh Architects to design the building.  Kevin Walsh and Kamal Azar have also developed a wonderful relationship with the Diocese, and have worked together with Chris R. Sheridan & Co. on several churches.
