The special challenges of this unique building's scope led to Mercer University's requesting that a contractor be on board from the beginning of the project.  After our firm was chosen, we worked with Atlanta's Cooper Cary Architects  on 1/16"-scale sketches and produced a budget that fit Mercer's tight criteria, helped the administration present the project to the board of trustees, and finally (and most importantly) delivered the project on time and below cost.
