Our firm was chosen in 1983 to rebuild the original hangar after it was destroyed by a storm in that year. This led to a relationship that lasted until the airline was sold in 1995. During that time, we constructed a Lockheed Electra hangar, a DC-8 hangar and a DC-8/DC-10 hangar. The latter two hangars were done on a design-build basis. The total area of these hangars is 150,000 SF.
